Rooks are a discreet yet playful piercing, nestled just above the forward helix for a subtle but stylish look. They’re pierced vertically and, once healed, can be styled with curved barbells or rings to suit your vibe.

Anatomy check required! Rook piercings are highly anatomy-dependent, so a consultation is needed to ensure your ear is suited for a smooth, successful heal.

Sleeping on a healing rook can seriously impact your results, increasing irritation and the risk of scarring. Because of this, we won’t perform a cartilage piercing if you already have one healing on the opposite ear — your ears need time and space to heal properly!
