Our Deposit Policy

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, and we will always try to be as accommodating as possible. However, we must ensure that our appointments run on time so the next client is not negatively impacted.

Rescheduling

In the event that you are unable to attend your appointment, you may reschedule it with at least 6 hours’ notice . Simply locate your confirmation email and hit the “Reschedule” link or CLICK HERE to locate your booking.

Example
: You get called into work and you can no longer attend your booked appointment, so you reschedule to our next available spot. Your deposit is retained for your new appointment time.

Incorrect Identification

Your deposit is considered forfeit if you attend your appointment without all of the correct identification, including your parent’s identification if you are under the age of 18.

You are sent an SMS reminder the day prior to your appointment to remind you which identification you need to bring.

Example: ou don’t bring correct identification to your piercing appointment, so we are unable to pierce you. Your deposit is not refunded or transferred.

Missed appointment

If you are 10 or more minutes late for your scheduled appointment, you may lose your deposit and will need to re-book.

Example: You arrive ≥10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment time, and the next client will be negatively impacted, so we are unable to pierce you. Your deposit is not refunded or transferred, and you will need to re-book for another time.

Change of mind

If you attend your appointment and decide to not go ahead with it, you may lose some or all of your deposit. This deposit may be used towards other purchases in-store or refunded at the discretion of your piercer depending on the situation.

In the event of a change of mind AFTER beginning the procedure (ie: already in the room and ready to proceed), the entirety of the deposit will be taken.

For children under the age of 10 who are not ready at the time of piercing, we offer a one-time option to reschedule retaining the deposit to another date (generally 12 months later).

Example: You booked for a nostril piercing, but at your appointment you decide you don’t want to get pierced anymore. Your piercer will discuss using your deposit for other products and services.

Practitioner declining your procedure

Some piercings are very anatomical and often require a consultation to determine viability prior to getting the piercing. We always suggest coming in for a consultation prior to booking.

We also offer a free consultation at the start of a piercing booking, however, you will need to enter a “backup plan” piercing when making your appointment.

If you decide to not have an anatomical consultation prior and do not wish to have any other piercings done, your deposit may be partially or fully forfeited to compensate the practitioners and studio for their time.

If we decline your procedure based on our professional opinion or anatomical viability, for a piercing that doesn’t require an anatomical consultation prior – you will have your entire deposit refunded.

Example: You are not anatomically viable for a piercing you booked in for that doesn’t suggest a consultation prior, and our practitioners have agreed that it is not advisable to do the piercing. Your deposit is automatically refunded.

If you would like to give your appointment to a friend or family member, please EMAIL US the specifics of your appointment and precisely what they would like to get done.

Note: We do NOT permit the sale of appointments for profit. Doing so will result in an immediate ban on booking future appointments.
